VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Financial Analysts to support the US Navy in Crystal City, VA.

Responsibilities

• Works independently and is considered an expert in all aspects of Business Financial Management.
• Reviews deliverables before submission for content, accuracy, timeliness, and presentation of materials.
• Conducts training and mentoring for mid-level and junior-level analysts and is frequently consulted to resolve questions and issues related to Financial Management. 
• Serves as a leader ensuring that a group of analysts is working in concert to ensure the efficient stewardship of public funds.
• Supports the financial execution, formulates strategic financial plans, and correlates financing requirements into executable budgets.
• Assesses products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards.
• Manages completion of work within the time frame specified by the client, ensuring that all requirements are met; prepares milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end-user representatives.
• Performs cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, and financial analysis to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources.
• Makes recommendations for improving operations, systems, and reporting.
• Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls that could have a significant impact on the organization and its business operations.

Qualifications:

• Jr Level - Associates, Mid Level - Associates and three years, Sr. Level - Bachelors and 15 years of professional experience in Financial Management, 8 or more years experience of relevant budget/financial experience, 3 years of supervisory and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience; DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; US Navy Programs (NAVSEA Programs)
• Client-facing experience
• Prior experience working in a Navy environment preferred
