THE POSITION
Vista Hill is looking to hire a full time, experienced, and energetic Licensed Mental Health provider to oversee a school-based mental health program in the Escondido region. The Program Manager hires, trains and oversees the clinical work of a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, case managers, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and administrative support persons. The Program Manager monitors and audits clinical records and ensures excellent quality mental health services and documentation. The program is funded through a contract with the County of San Diego and the Manager needs to have experience with the documentation and service requirements of San Diego County Behavioral Health contracts and be able to effectively teach and train the team to meet those standards. An example of tasks include:
REQUIREMENTS
· Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or human behavior.
· State license for Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
· Three years experience working with children, youth and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
· Must have knowledge of the cultural issues that can impact mental health treatment, be aware of Special Education law and requirements, and have an excellent understanding of the culture and challenges of school –based mental health.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check, TB test, and meet COVID-19 vaccine requirements.
HOURS
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday school hours.
PAY
$39.00 per hour minimum starting rate.
This is a starting rate and may be adjusted up based on education and experience.
