Job Profile

Head of Cabin is available in Columbus, OH. The Head of Cabin is a strategic leadership role that oversite the Cabin Team for Vista America. You will work with a team of Cabin Operations and Performance Managers to create an amazing culture and experience for your team to ensure the Vista Jet standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the continued alignment from Jet Edge to Vista America.
  • Upholding positivity and integrity during periods of transformational change.
  • Building relationships and with relevant stakeholders to a ensure smooth journey for our people.
  • Be a visible presence within the OCC, and work relentlessly with relevant teams for correct coverage and placement.
  • Ensure establishment and head count is in line with business and operational requirements. Working with stakeholders to deliver the numbers in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Aligning all CH contracts and implementing bonus structure in line with VistaJet policy.
  • Accountable for all client and Quality Ambassador feedback and ensuring it is actioned upon.
  • Deliver presentations on behalf of the department when required.
  • Ensure all training adds value. Work with the Global Cabin Training and Development Manager to ensure local compliance and efficiency.
  • Act as a point of escalation.
  • Ensure Aircraft standards, stocking and inventories are upheld and remain efficient.
  • Maintain a motivated and engaged workforce. Directed through your COPM’s.
  • Be a visible leader in Cabin. Hold regular calls and updates to your team and spend time at key locations to build employee engagement.
  • Share monthly data reports with the relevant leadership teams and DOC on attrition, performance, establishment, and key operational fleet updates.

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education:

  • Experience in a senior leadership role for over 3 years in a large organization, preferably within aviation.
  • Ideally flown as a Flight Attendant for an international carrier or Cabin Host within Private Aviation
  • Experience in understanding the expectations of Ultra High Net Worth individuals, or the intricacies that surround ultra-luxury hospitality.
  • Demonstrated a history of building culture and successfully leading through periods of transformational change.
  • Ability to boldly lead departmental direction and able to demonstrate success in delivering key performance indicators.
  • You will have worked within an HR function and have experience in managing performance via KPIs, employee disputes, and following informal and formal processes.
