At VNA, we have been a trusted provider of Private Duty Nursing services in Southeast Missouri for over 35 years. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled nurses to become part of our compassionate team.
What is Private Duty Nursing?
Private Duty Nursing involves providing individualized care in clients' homes for those with specialized healthcare needs requiring continuous hourly nursing care, for up to 16 hours per day.
Responsibilities Of Private Duty Nurses
  • Delivering one-on-one care and interacting with patients
  • Conducting vital signs and physical assessments
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Documenting patients' ongoing conditions
  • Providing care for G-tubes, trachs, and vents when necessary
Training And Support Provided
  • Specialized one-on-one training
  • Training for trachs, ventilators, and G-tubes
  • Access to 24/7 support staff
