We care about the individual needs of our staff and pride ourselves on finding the right client for each caregiver.
WHAT DOES A VISITING ANGEL DO?
You will provide non-medical care for older adults and seniors to help them stay
independent and in their own home. Services provided for our clients can range from basic ADL's such as errands/shopping, ADL's such as bathing, and high level, total care cases. Other services include Alzheimer's/Dementia care, Hospice supportive care, and Respite.
CAREGIVERS, CNA'S

We are currently looking for caring, patient, compassionate and RELIABLE individuals who have a genuine interest in working with senior citizens and others in need of assistance. We have shifts anywhere from 1 hour to 24/7 hours available! Overnight shift Caregivers NEEDED!
We always welcome applicants with no experience who are RELIABLE and compassionate with hard work ethics. We offer training and mentor programs for applicants with no experience.
ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant must stay in the Kansas City area so that you can arrive at a client's home within 30 minutes or less of any request.
• Applicant must be prepared by having gas in your car and uniform ready.
• Applicant must answer cell phone or return our call within ten minutes or less.
• Applicant must go to any client that may need care no matter how intense their care need.
• Typical on-call will last from Friday at 5pm to Monday at 9am, however, a different schedule may be worked out beforehand with your Supervisor.
• Applicant must work the shift you are called to regardless of the time of the shift. There may be clients that require an overnight stay.
• If applicant has children, you agree to have a childcare plan and a back-up plan
• Applicant must complete Medically Home training provided by Visiting Angels

JOBS REQUIREMENT
18 years of age
Speak English and be able to converse on a variety of topics
Willing to take a background check and drug screen
Passionate about providing care for elders
Compassionate, honest, RELIABLE, confident and highly sociable
Confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation
Be able to cook
Eligibility to work in the United States
Your own reliable vehicle
Valid driver's license
Proof of insurance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Pay: $50 per day even if not assigned to a job.
