Position Overview:
Our team in Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant who is fluent in both English and Chinese. This position requires legal authorization to work in the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions including tax preparation, financial reporting, and routine accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
Independently prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Manage all aspects of accounting; including invoicing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
Maintain detailed records of accounting transactions.
Perform monthly closings and prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Prepare and submit tax returns and other necessary documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
Collaborate with financial colleagues domestically to complete designated accounting tasks within deadlines.
Evaluate financial operations, recommend best practices, identify issues, and plan solutions to facilitate changes.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least two years of accounting experience, capable of independently preparing financial statements and managing the general ledger.
Fluency in both English and Chinese; strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Familiarity with U.S. tax laws.
Proficiency in financial accounting statements.
Experienced with accounting software (e.g., Kingdee).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
