Optometric Technician

Visionary Eye Care, a privately-owned optometry office in North Broomfield/Erie, is seeking a friendly and self-motivated individual to join our growing team. Optometric technician or medical assisting experience is required.

Job Duties

∙ Greet and welcome patients to the office

∙ Perform examination pre-testing (auto refractor, auto lensometer, corneal
topographer, OPTOS retinal imaging/OCT, visual field)

∙ Contact lens new wearer insertion and removal training, assistance with specialty
contacts for keratoconus

∙ Ordering, receiving and dispensing revenue contact lenses

∙ Monthly ordering and filling of trial contact lens trays

∙ Back-up to front desk and optical; answering phones, scheduling patients, dispensing glasses

∙ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

∙ Excellent customer service and organizational skills

∙ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good with multitasking

∙ Friendly, dependable team player

∙ Optical experience is a plus

Our hours are Monday 10am to 7pm, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday through Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am to 1pm. The optometric technician will be expected to work Wednesdays and Saturdays with other days as discussed, open to full or part-time hours.
