As a Clinic Lead, you are expected to lead by example and continually strive to develop important leadership skills. Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include :
- Monitor patient flow and doctors schedule
- Daily clinical work ups : Gather medical history and reason for the visit, complete diagnostic testing and necessary documentation
- Explaining insurance benefits to patients
- Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations
- Show patients how to properly care for contact lens / trainings
- Contact lens ordering
- Oversee day to day operations
- Solving problems and resolving conflict
- Providing direction and guidance
- Motivate team members
- Monitor team performance
- Monitor day to day clinic operation
- Communicate with our manager and managing doctors
- Attend leadership meetings once a month in Nampa
Hours required for this position :
- Monday 8 : 30am-5 : 30 pm
- Tuesday 9 : 30am-7pm
- Wednesday 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm (Nampa office 8 : 30-9 : 30 for weekly team meeting)
- Thursday 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm
- Friday 8 : 00am-3 : 30pm
Skills & Qualifications
Clinical Technician / Clinic Lead required skills & qualifications include :
- Must be able to maintain a professional attitude and be reliable
- The ability to connect and communicate well with patients
- Strong communicator written and verbal
- Able to multitask, manage time wisely; detail-oriented
- Team-player with a positive attitude
- Decision making skills
- Able to work as a team and independently
- Optometry experience preferred
- Leadership or management experience- REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED- REQUIRED
