We are seeking a highly motivatedand dedicated Sales Professional to join our team at VPG.

Responsibilities :

Maximizesales in territory and win designins in conjunction with the FieldDesign Engineers and divisional management staff.

Review customerspecifications and recommend P / N s or availablealternatives.

  • Provide applications support andsales assistance for the customer s technical and purchasingstaff.
  • Demonstrate MM products and solutions tothe customers using presentations samples and demo equipmentincluding actual handson demonstrations.
  • Submitdetailed customer visit reports as defined by the SalesManager.
  • Identify new product opportunities andprepare / provide supportingdocumentation.
  • Work continuously with theapplication engineering team on nonstandardprojects.
  • Arrange technical conference callswith customers and technical team asneeded.
  • Negotiate the technical requirementsfor customer specific qualification documents; i.e. PPAP(Production Part Approval Process) or equivalent and submit thecompleted package upon QA completion (when applicable).

Workshopsand Straintalk as required.

  • Provide producttraining and technical presentations to our customers includinguniversity level students. Coordinate with Field Design Engineersfor additional customer technical support and assist FDEs withStrain Gage Workshops and Straintalk as required.
  • Ability to travel 50% of thetime.

Requirements :

  • B.S.Engineering or equivalent BSEE preferred or 15 years industryexperience.
  • Working knowledge of strainmeasurement theory and strain measurement technology isrequired.
  • 10 years experience in technicalsales product marketing or design engineering within the mechanicalor electronics industry.
  • Experience in dealingwith division s products is anadvantage.

Theestimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels ofskills and experience to be considered as well as provides room forgrowth achieved within the role over time.

Any offer extended to acandidate or salary increase consideration for a current employeewill be based on the individual s unique set of knowledge skillseducation experience and geographic location as well as internalequity.
