Job Description

The Vice President, Head of NA Channels for Money Movement, reporting to the SVP, NA Head of Money Movement. In this influential leadership role, the VP of NA Channel Partners will be the driving force behind our channel partner strategy, programs, and commercial structures. She/he will be responsible for aligning Visa’s innovative Money Movement solutions with their strategic vision, pain points, and growth opportunities.

Our definition of “Channels” encompasses partner/indirect channels that adopt Visa’s Money Movement Solutions - including our payments network, value address services, and advisory expertise - to cater to diverse business verticals in the market. This wide spectrum includes issuer and acquirer processors, sponsor banks, Payment Facilitators (PayFacs), and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). 

Key Responsibilities

Drive Money Movement sales, revenue and key success indicator objectives advancing scaled & efficient partner sales, enablement, and commercial models inclusive of the following:

  • Set the strategy to build up a channel practice to scale the distribution of Visa’s Money Movement solutions including Visa Direct, Visa B2B Connect, and Visa Cross Border Solutions along with applicable value-added services.
  • Create, structure, and partner with our sales teams to negotiate commercial contracts and align those structured contracts to actionable and measurable revenues.
  • Assist in creating and help to lead commercial constructs and arrangements across 4 vectors: Enablement, Sell To, Resell arrangements, and Referral agreements.
  • Develop and advance sales strategies for channel partners’ sales of Money Movement
  • Influence channel partner roadmaps with relevant money movement capabilities that will advance the growth of their business.
  • Be a thought leader on trends, payments landscape, and regulatory frameworks impacting funds flow and money movement of channel partners.
  • Champion new or changes to existing product standards, implementation, or operational support model to represent the needs of channel partners and simplify the adoption of Visa’s Money Movement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a best-in-class operating model to drive preference of Visa’s money movement solutions among channel partner sales teams including governance model, analytics, product solutions in support of our indirect and co-selling efforts.
  • Work in close partnership with the collective Money Movement Solutions teams, Visa General Sales, product, and solutions teams.
  • Efforts will be spread across direct ownership/execution and supporting roles against named strategic opportunities and pursuits.
  • Assists with sales strategy, and integration of IDDEA sales methodology for the channel model.
  • Consultation and involvement to help drive internal/external facing sales assets and tools.
  • Support and build pipeline sufficiency/ views, revenue targets and related reporting frameworks for acquirer/ indirect channels globally.
  • Support teams in quantifying/ qualifying frameworks to meet their Revenue Plans
  • Push IDDEA sales methodology development, which aligns a consistent set of sales framing/ processes.
  • Drive commercial framing and pricing efforts for global channel partners and acquirers in partnership with key internal stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of account managers driving Money Movement growth among named channel accounts.
  • Develop a standard set of processes, commercial solutions, and reporting on performance for channel partner and acquirer accounts.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD)
• At least 15 years of experience, including significant experience in an executive leadership role in a P&L support function in a global, channel partner, multi-channel sales environment
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and facilitating collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Technology and Customer Service organizations
• Experience in developing and tracking client-centric strategies within a complex multi-national, matrixed organization.
• Experience developing and executing on strategic business plans.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 194,700 to 357,900 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
