Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Program Management to be a member of the Visa Global Talent Acquisition team. This individual will be responsible for leading a team and driving best-in-class program management for Visa’s Rotation programs and initiatives. Visa offers a number of Rotation Development Programs that provide opportunities to participants to move across our business on short term assignments with the intention of building breadth and or depth of subject matter expertise. This includes functional specialist programs such as our People Team Development Program (PTDP) and Associate Product Manager Program (APM), as well as cross functional programs such as our Visa Leadership Associate Program (VLA) and Visa Champions Program (VCP). You will have overall accountability for approx. 110 program participants in North America on an annual basis. This is a unique opportunity to aid Visa in optimizing and upskilling Visa’s junior workforce across the globe.

Specific role and responsibilities

  • Oversee overall design and delivery of Rotation Programs strategy and framework globally
  • Consult with regional partners on customization to local market needs
  • Engage with Early Career Global Executive Advisory Board, responsible for building and delivering key resources and materials that build relationships with global executive sponsors
  • Engage with Visa People Leadership Team where appropriate around rotation programs
  • Drive workforce planning requirements for Rotation Programs, collaborating with internal TA, Finance and People Business partners
  • Develop and implement post program placement strategy for Rotation Programs
  • Manage ownership of specialist rotation development programs: PTDP (People Team Development Program) and Visa Champions Program
  • Responsible for designing and delivery of revised learning and programming approach for Specialist programs
  • End to end budget management – including annual budget planning
  • Quarterly and annual reporting for Rotation Programs against OKRs

Essential Team, Program Management and Leadership responsibilities:

  • Manage team of Program Management professionals overseeing the Early Careers Rotation programs
  • Serves as a Senior PM leader working with key stakeholders across Talent Acquisition to design, build, and execution of innovative and strategic programs, ensuring consistency on a global scale
  • Act as thought partner to regional Early Careers functional leaders to provide suitable regional customization as Visa continues to grow in local markets 
  • Initiate and manage project plans related to short and long-term program TA strategies
  • Drive project execution by working with team and stakeholders by providing key communications and holding project teams accountable to timelines and deliverables
  • Leading team on effective implementation of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Consistently analyze data and research to identify root causes and areas to optimize work, establish operational efficiencies
  • Lead in the design of programs to enable the organization’s ability to recruit and hire, focusing on key user groups
  • Cross-collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, Global Early Careers TA team, People Team, business leaders, I&D, partner colleges/universities, national organizations, and recruitment vendors
  • Build, analyze, maintain, and distribute Talent Acquisition data analytics to stakeholder regarding performance indicators/trends to impact TA results and strategic objectives
  • Be a thought partner to team in developing and maximizing global programs
  • Utilize data to define problems, ideate solutions, and implement solutions

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience leading a team within a remote and or hybrid work environment
  • Utilizing, driving, and leading Talent Acquisition/Program Management best practices
  • Deep experience developing, building, documenting, and maintaining processes and policies
  • Consultative approach with ability to demonstrate positive relationship building with various partners
  • Inspirational leader and people development success
  • Developing reporting and metrics and interpreting data for insights on business processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, and experience handling confidential information
  • Proven track record of building and executing multiple programs
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems, SmartRecruiters and Workday preferrable
  • Leadership presence and credibility to interact with all levels of employees and stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Practical experience applying change management principles at global scale
  • Strong data-analysis, problem-solving, and agile process improvement skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 121,000.00 to 175,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
