Virtus Support Services is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Seminole, FL

We are seeking Construction Managers to join our team!

We need hard charging, smart people that are technically strong, critical thinkers.

You must be able to take charge of complex situations to achieve outcomes without detailed instruction.

You will oversee project estimating, proposals, planning, scheduling, budgeting, submittals, financials, and support organizational strategy.

Virtus Support Services, http://www.virtusss.com, provides management and back-office support for our clients in the construction trades. We need formally educated and experienced construction managers that understand the entire construction process to work as advocates and managers for our clients.

You must be an experienced construction professional that understands the science of construction management from corporate strategy to daily project management.

This is an office position with little to no weekend work, but requires flexibility Monday through Friday to ensure communication with clients when they are available.

Very strong communications and computer skills are a must.

This position includes the opportunity for lucrative commissions for driving client growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong communication skills

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Must possess a bachelors in building construction management or a construction management certificate from a reputable source
  • Must have at least two years of hands-on construction management experience
  • Must be highly organized and proactive
  • Must be a person that treats your employer's and your clients business as your own
