BenefitsTrusted Staffe is partnering with a regional medical center in Lewiston, ID to find a qualified and motivated Radiation Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team while receiving a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- $25,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Up to $10,000 in Relocation Assistance
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients with cancer under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including a new Elekta Versa with VMAT (commissioned in 2023) and a new wide-bore Client CT scanner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dosimetrists, and physicists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform treatment setup and simulation procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of radiation therapy equipment.
- Educate patients about the radiation therapy process and address their concerns.
- Required:
- ARRT (R) certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Desired:
- Experience in a Radiation Oncology Department.
- Knowledge of PET/CT imaging (onsite scanner available).
- Modern Equipment: This facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including a new Elekta Versa with VMAT and a new wide-bore Client CT scanner.
- Experienced Team: You'll work alongside a Radiation Oncologist with 30 years of experience and therapists with a combined total of over 55 years of experience.
- Supportive Staff: The welcoming staff is dedicated to creating a positive work environment and supporting new therapists.
- Schedule: The position offers a stable schedule with regular hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
