Job Description:
The Virtu IT team is looking for an exceptional self-starter to join as an Enterprise Systems Engineer generalist. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who is eager to learn and be part of a global team. This is a great opportunity that offers the right candidate a wealth of experience in various aspects of IT support for a financial services company.

This position will involve supporting Virtu Enterprise Windows Server Infrastructure both physical and virtual. Applications supported by the team include (but are not limited to): Citrix, VMware, Exchange, SCCM, Active Directory, and DNS. We’re looking for a strong candidate to jump in and help us balance the workload.

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 years of experience administering Windows Servers
• 3 years of experience with server side administration of at least one of the following: Citrix, VMware, SCCM, Exchange, or Active Directory
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to include networking, application, and system performance
• Availability to work off-hours, such as nights or weekends occasionally
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Being positive, proactive and available to support team for all IT needs
• Willingness to assist with desktop support tasks

Desired but not required:
• Citrix Infrastructure such as NetScalers, Delivery Controllers, and other VDI
• VMware ESXi/vCenter Administration
• Patch management, imaging and deployment
• Server hardware and data center hardware
• Microsoft Active Directory and DNS
• Industry Certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, or Citrix
• Microsoft Exchange and troubleshooting email delivery issues
• Scripting experience with PowerShell
