VirTra is Hiring an UI/UX Designer Near Orlando, FL
- Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iteratively enhance designs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes.
- Work closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs that meet stakeholder's expectations.
- Comply with department ISO 9001 processes and company quality policy
- Manage and log time worked daily by project code
- Provide miscellaneous support to other departments, as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a deep understanding of design principles.
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Full time position consisting of 40 hours per week; normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require periodic overtime and weekend work during periods of high production or deadlines.
