Virginia Tech is Hiring a Master Electrician Near Blacksburg, VA
Required Qualifications
- Considerable experience in maintenance and repair of commercial food service equipment.
- Education/training in food service equipment repair, electronics, and refrigeration/electrical repair.
- Ability to operate and analyze information from testing equipment.
- Working knowledge of computers to submit and close work orders.
- Virginia Journeyman electrical license or license recognized by the state of Virginia required.
- To obtain universal EPA refrigeration certification within 6 months of employment.
- Associates degree and or master's electrician certification in a trades occupation certified in Virginia or a license recognized by the state of Virginia plus type III or universal EPA refrigeration certification.

Salary Information$50,000 - $60,000/year and commensurate with experience

Additional InformationYou will also receive a food voucher to have a meal in one of our award winning dining centers with every 4 hour shift worked.
Work hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 - 3:00 PM and according to customer needs.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
