The Marketing and Communications Assistant position is primarily responsible for assisting with strategies and tactics to maintain VMRC’s Full House Occupancy and Delighted Residents goals. Responsibilities include responding to marketing inquiries, greeting potential resident prospects and maintaining up-to-date marketing reports for managing marketing lead activity and building prospect profiles. Undertakes daily administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of department’s activities and coordinates communication with internal departments and sales prospects in a timely manner.

Full-Time Work Schedule:

· Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm (This is an in-office public facing position).

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a sales, hospitality, or customer service environment or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must be able to provide outstanding customer service.
• Must have a pleasant personality, enjoy working with people, and be able to interact tactfully with others.
• Must be highly organized, and attentive to details.
• Must possess computer experience with proficiency in MicroSoft and CRM systems.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, self-motivated, willing to be flexible, and accommodate changing priorities.
