The Talent Management Consultant Senior develops talent management programs and processes, such as succession planning, performance management, leadership development and career planning for VCUHS. This job consults with client groups to enhance and improve existing programs and to further develop talent pipelines. This job partners with HR service lines to deploy programs and processes.Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) or other related credential preferredLicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/AExperience REQUIRED: Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years of broad HR generalist experience to include expertise in at least three of the following: Talent management, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, training, eLearning, HR information systems, benefits, compensation. Experience PREFERRED: N/A Education/training REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited programEducation/training PREFERRED: Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited program Independent action(s) required: Provides consultation to managers/supervisor on areas related to performance management, career development, and individual development plans. Collaborates and serves as the liaison with specialty HR areas to provide needed services to assigned areas. Maintains electronic performance review files and succession plans. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Functions as the team lead for the Talent Management staff. Serves as back-up to the Director.
