The Village of Palatine Human Resources Department is seeking a Human Resources Generalist.
This is a professional position reporting to the Human Resources Director, responsible for benefits administration including health and life insurance plans, flexible spending plan, deferred compensation and other pension plan programs, on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and general support to the Human Resources department.
Essential Job Functions :
Qualifications :
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in the role of employee benefits including prior experience. A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field, or the equivalent experience is required. Certification through HRCI, SHRM or IFEBP preferred. Public sector experience is a plus.
Starting Salary : Hiring range of $75,000 to $105,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Includes an excellent benefits package including participation in Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
Hours : Typical work week between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
