American Paper & Twine, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in Chattanooga,TN. The Sales team is hiring a talented Outside Sales Consultant! The Outside Sales Consultant is responsible for developing and growing our business by identifying and qualifying new leads, bulding relationships with potential customers, and closing deals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success and the ability to analyze customer needs, develop and present solutions, and meet or exceed sales goals.

As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, we serve customers in many business-to-business market segments including restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, sports and entertainment, and cruise lines. Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Contact customer leads through cold calling
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
  • Penetrate existing assigned accounts with new items
  • Meet or exceed the assigned Sales budget
  • Contact and re-establish relationships with lost accounts
  • Input sales orders
  • Participate in all company spiffs and promotions
Qualifications:

You have:

  • A bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar functioning role
  • Drive, energy, & a passion for selling
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
