Village Caregiving is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing payroll, QuickBooks, and ADP processes. This position will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and requires at least one to two years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports as needed.
• Utilize QuickBooks and ADP systems proficiently to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree in Accountancy preferred).
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders effectively.
