Position Summary

The VP Digital Banking Manager is responsible for the Bank's digital banking (consumer and business) programs. In this capacity, serves as the functional owner of the bank’s Digital Strategy Playbook which includes digital product delivery (online and mobile banking), product engagement, digital payments, digital customer service, and digital security.

The VP Digital Banking Manager performs direct supervisory duties of department staff and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas; takes ownership and ensures timely response and resolution of customer issues; ensures all digital banking systems are configured optimally; maintains knowledge of internal resources to mitigate disruption of services to customers; and communicates recurring or serious issues to management.

The VP Digital Banking Manager assists management in the development and implementation of new digital banking products and services.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the SVP - Operations & Information Technology, the VP Digital Banking Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing management of the bank’s Digital Strategy and associated Digital Strategy Playbook. Key area of focus are:

Responsible for the daily management of the Bank's digital banking (consumer and business) program. Serves as the functional owner of the bank’s digital banking systems and ensures each system is optimally configured.

Responsible for the management of the bank’s business digital banking program and associated staff.

Responsible for the development of a digital banking customer support program. Working with the Customer Care Center and our Retail Network, executes the developed support program.

Responsible for the bank’s processing of digital payments including remote wires, ACH, bill pay, and internal/external transfers. Ensures all payment offerings are in strict adherence to regulations (NACHA).

Working with Enterprise Risk Management, is responsible for ensuring adequate security measures are in place for the bank’s digital offering.

Analyzes customer usage of the bank’s digital offering. Working with the bank’s Marketing Team, develops and executes a comprehensive digital banking marketing plan geared towards increasing engagement and product utilization.

Responsible for ensuring optimal results are achieved during internal and external audits.

Oversees and develops appropriate procedures across all area functions to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

Monitors and evaluates system reports regarding any issues regarding down time, functionality, complex customer inquiries, and other troubleshooting issues;

In collaboration with the Core Systems Manager, ensures vendor SLAs are being met and any issues that surface are resolved in a timely manner.

In collaboration with the SVP of Operations & Information Technology, assists in the development of the digital banking strategic plan and department goals.

Participates in community events and supports the bank’s overall CCI initiative.

A bachelor degree in business or a related field with 5 years of banking, financial services, or digital banking/e-commerce experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific Skills Required

Computer Skills

Hands on working knowledge of the Bank’s core processing system and all applications utilized to deliver products and services to customers through electronic delivery channels including, but not limited to basic understanding of programs, parameters, logic, system performance and evaluation, and system analysis.

Fluency in all aspects of social media and web culture.
