Village ACE Hardware is Hiring a Cashier - Part Time Near Fayetteville, NY
The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.
Duties include but are not limited to the following; counting register drawer at the beginning and end of shift, greeting customers entering and leaving the store, clearing checkout lines quickly and efficiently, answering phone calls in a professional manner, using a radio to page floor staff for customer assistance or carry-outs, communicating issues at the register that require management assistance, continually build product knowledge in order to direct customers to product location, assist with pricing and stocking of merchandise.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must! * Trustworthy and dependable * Retail experience and/or hardware experience a plus *Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
