Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company is Hiring a Lead Fire Alarm Technician Near Omaha, NE

Fire Alarm Lead

Viking Automatic Sprinkler Co. is searching for a qualified individual to lead our fire alarm and fire extinguisher division in Omaha, NE. The qualified candidate should be able to leverage their industry knowledge to lead a growing fire alarm/suppression business. This would include selling service work, turn-key inspections, and new monitoring accounts while self-performing the work when required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing customer relationships while establishing a new customer base
  • Growing new monitoring accounts while managing the existing monitoring base.
  • Provide accurate estimates and drawings for fire alarm installations, upgrades and inspections
  • Ensure all work complies with codes and standards
  • Recommend improvements on project or procedures to improve overall company success
  • Provide direction for future growth and planning of the fire alarm division
  • Manage and lead the day-to-day field activities and understanding the project budget
  • Ability to self-perform work when required
  • Test and Inspect Fire Alarm and Extinguisher
  • Serve as trainer and coach for crew members
  • Some travel maybe required

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) is a must have
  • Ability to function and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft
  • NICET in fire alarm required with ability to get NICET 3 in fire alarms
  • Valid State License for Low Voltage work (PLT where applicable)
  • Suppression experience/certification a plus
  • Initiative and drive to grow a business unit
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Business development/marketing skill a plus
  • Possess a valid driver s license
