Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company, specializing in fire protection since 1924, offers fire protection systems and services to customers throughout the United States.

Viking handles all phases of fire protection, including engineering and design, project management, installation, inspection, repair and maintenance, alarm and detection, sprinkler and suppression systems, and fire extinguishers.

The Sprinkler Inspection Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the alignment of field staff and resources to complete the inspection and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and extinguishers in existing facilities. Candidate will perform several specific duties including service/dispatching field staff, managing inspection reports, invoicing, and coordinating with customers. This individual is a key member of the team that will be relied on to continue the department's efforts to grow, organize and expand our ability to provide excellent service to the customer.

As an Inspection Coordinator you will:

• Assist in obtaining information needed for each job such as, Purchase Orders, tax-exempt forms, insurance certificates, and certified payroll information.
• Assists in the scheduling of inspectors and ensures compliance with state and local codes.
• Orders materials for the Fire Extinguisher Shop.
• Updates and maintains Fire Sprinkler and Extinguisher Inspection records.
• Quote deficiencies and installations, as needed.
• General office duties such as faxing, copying, filing, scanning documents.
• Upload documents to internal resources.
• Proactively call or email existing customers to schedule their inspections
• Organize off-cycle inspections to coordinate multiple scopes with one trip
• Schedule inspections and dispatch technicians appropriately
• Other duties as needed.

In this role, you will supervise:

• Fire Sprinkler Fitters
• Fire Extinguisher Technicians

An ideal candidate, will have the following qualifications:

• Strong oral, written and telephone skills.
• Strong customer service skills
• Time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Moderate to advanced computer skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data and establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred
• One year experience in an administrative setting, industry experience preferred.

Pay Range: Pay dependent upon level of experience and education. Approximately 40k to 60k
