Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter changes, and calibration
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Fabricate and install parts as needed
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including low voltage wiring
- Familiarity with hydraulics and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Assembles, installs pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
