Victura Professionals is Recruiting for DIRECT HIRE, Plant Electrician Candidates for a Non-Food Manufacturing Company in Gainesville as follows:

*Shift: 1st Shift QA: $17/hr, (7:30am-4pm)-Plus Overtime during the week and weekends.

*Job Type: Direct Hire

*Benefits available within 31 days from date of hire: Includes Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, PTO.

*Location: Gainesville, GA

*Work days: -Monday's-Friday's

*Overtime: Sometimes come in early or stay late during the week.

*Saturday work: Currently working 3 of 4 Saturdays per month

Requirements Include:

*Key Job Responsibilities:

• High level of knowledge and understanding around personal and process safety
• Layout, maintain and repair all electrical equipment and power and lighting systems in the plant including motors, generators, transformers, controls and mechanisms, timing devices, switches, cables, and conduits.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production equipment. PLC, VFD, Servo Motor and Programmable Sensors.
• Perform functional tests to determine electrically powered/controlled machines or equipment operate properly after installation or repair.

• Work on "live" circuits as required.
• Safely maintain plant electrical power distribution including transformers, switch gears, panels, and associated wiring
• Strong understanding of area classifications, class, divisions, and zones
• Compliance to all safety requirements is a must, such as LOTO and PPE equipment.
• Operation of lift equipment as required.
• Assist other skilled trades as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

*Key Job Requirements:

• Must have completed a formal Apprenticeship Program or have a minimum of six (6) years of documented experience in the trade, industrial preferred.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• PLC, VFD, Servo Motor and Programmable Sensor communication experience (preferred).
• Skill/Ability in use of various types of testing equipment to locate and correct trouble.
• Skill/Ability in reading and applying facility drawings including electrical schematics and riser diagrams.
• Proficiency in thin-walled and rigid pipe bending.
• Working knowledge/experience with voltages of 480,277 and 120.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical and General Building Codes.

*No major gaps in employment and no major job hopping

*Must be Drug Free and Pass Drug test at time of application
