The Role:

The DC Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing products. The person in this position will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for consumer electronics. This position works in a warehouse and trailer yard environment that will vary in temperature, climate conditions, noise level, lighting, workload, and pace.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receives, inspects, and documents incoming shipments of products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Efficiently and accurately picks, packs, and labels products for outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ensures items are properly labeled per Victrola’s standards.
  • Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas.
  • Performs inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities to maintain accurate product availability. Maintains inventory organization to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilizes SAP and other relevant software tools to record and track inventory movements, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Ensures accurate counts of items being processed.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and trailer yard, including proper storage and handling of products and materials.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to coordinate timely shipments and deliveries, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Participates in quality control processes to identify and report any defects or discrepancies in products, helping to maintain high product standards.
  • Follows established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to products or equipment.
  • Operates material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge regarding SAP and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and performing data entry tasks.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal); and the ability to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Must possess basic math skills for counting, calculating quantities, and performing inventory related tasks.
  • Must possess a commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in warehouse operations a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Workplace Conditions/Physical Demands:

This position is based at our Denver DC warehouse and trailer yard.

  • Must be able to utilize handheld scanners.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Must be able to move about the warehouse to access products, shipments, machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to move and transport products and shipments weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The trailer yard is located outside where temperatures and lighting may vary based on the time of day. Extreme temperatures are possible based on the season.
  • All work areas are moderately noisy due to equipment and machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
