Position Title: Marketing Coordinator 

Supervisor: AFC Program Director 

Marketing Coordinator 

The Marketing Coordinator works in conjunction with the Senior Director of AFC and the Outreach staff to support ongoing enrollment within key growth targets. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the ground-level activity needs associated with implementing growth strategies both in the community and institutional settings. •Fosters relationships on a ground level with key growth targets. 

•Provides communication of salient issues to provider relations contact, as needed. 

• Direct and oversee the Victory Human Services marketing function to identify and develop new members in the communities in Massachusetts. 
• Research and develop strategies and plans, which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development for VHS marketing. 
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing methods, costs, and results. 
• Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach. 
• Participate in the development of new project proposals with Mass health and Department of Health and Human Services. 
• Establish and implement short-range goals, objective, policies, and operating procedures in the marketing department. 
• Participate in the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials. 
• Represent the company at various community and/or marketing meetings to promote Victory human services AFC. 
• Participate in the preparation, issuance, and delivery of VHS marketing materials, exhibits, and promotion programs. 
• The Marketing Director directs and oversees marketing policies, objectives and initiative in the (VHS) agency. 
• Participate in hiring and training of all new marketing employees. 
• Develop strategies for forecasting and analyzing market trench with Mass health and Department of Health and Human Services. 
• Develop, implement, and evaluate short and long-term tactics and programs focused on eligible new members and market needs/conditions to ensure the achievement of VHS revenue goals. 
• Travel throughout Massachusetts to educate Mass health recipients about AFC 
• Develop ongoing liaisons with key opinion leaders, member support groups and other healthcare organizations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored. 
• Responsible for performance appraisal of marketing/COT staff and for providing training and development opportunities including management and marketing training programs. 
• Monitors competitors, and marketing activities. 

As a key member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving messaging and relations on the ground level, complimenting the agreements and growth strategies on a macro-level. With oversight of line-staff relations and ongoing involvement, the Specialist has a share in ensuring targeted enrollment growth and resultant revenue projections are realized. 

Qualifications: 

• 4 years of Medicare and/or Medicaid experience. 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, master’s degree a plus. 

• Proficient in Microsoft office and other Windows-based applications. 

• Significant knowledge and experience within a nursing home. 

• Proven experience and success in serving ongoing customer needs as a retention strategy. 

• Bi-lingual in the following languages highly preferred; Haitian Creole, Cape Verde, and Spanish or other African Languages. 

•Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with corporate sales environment. 

•Strong presentation and sales skill sets. 

•90% of time will be associated with travel. 

•Must have reliable transportation. 

•Must possess a valid driver's license. 

•Valid MA Life, Accident & Health insurance licensure required.
