Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Optical Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have be highly organized, a team player, and have great customer service skills. Problem Solving skills are a plus. As an Optical Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production and quality assurance of optical products and be a liaison between the lab and the customer.
Duties:
*Review eyeglass/contact lens job orders for accuracy
*Check lens prescriptions and measurements
*Repair and dispense eyewear
*Work as a liaison between patient and lab for delays and errors
*Assist patients with choosing eyewear
*Educate patients on the benefits of lens enhancements
*Interpret insurance benefits and file insurance claims
*Maintain a clean and orderly Lab environment
