Job Function: Reporting to the Vice President, Associate General Counsel, the Senior Corporate Paralegal will be hybrid based out of our corporate office in Houston, Texas and will be responsible for supporting our corporate legal operations, handling a wide range of responsibilities related to corporate governance, compliance, transactions, and general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assisting attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including nondisclosure agreements, contracts and leases. Maintaining and organizing corporate records, including minute books. Coordinating corporate governance matters including drafting shareholder and board consents as needed. Ensuring the Company complies with legal and regulatory requirements, such as filing annual reports and maintaining corporate licenses. Handling basic business and legal issues related to Company-owned and leased real estate; working with business and legal executives to assure information is readily available and easily accessible as needed. Maintain binder with summaries of the Company’s real estate holdings. Managing the Company’s legal invoice system (LegalTracker) and coordinate payment of legal fees. Managing the Company’s contract management system. Assisting with ethics and compliance programs. Providing administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining calendars. Requirements Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school, preferred 5 years of related professional experience. Strong understanding of corporate law principles and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in document drafting. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
