Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Provide tactical leadership to the Quality Systems group.

• Responsible for the management of the process for investigations of deviations, complaints, non-conformances and significant quality events within TrackWise at MTI.

• Responsible for the management of the process for change control related to GMP changes within the TrackWise system at MTI.

• Responsible for the management of the system for Annual Product Review/Product Quality Reviews (APR/PQR's).

• Responsible for management of the Self-Inspection Program.

• Manage external audits by customers, Viatris Global and Health Authorities as required.

• Support Global Quality System requirements and initiatives as necessary.

• Manage the Investigations and Change Control team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

• Participates in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of quality systems and associated procedures to ensure alignment with GMP's, Viatris Polict and conform to current practice. Revise and author standard operating procedures as needed.

• Participates in the evaluation other existing Quality Systems and provide leadership and guidance for implementation of new systems and system improvements as indicated.

• Plan, organize, lead, and control laboratory department operations to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their employees, processes, projects, and laboratory.

• Communicate goals to employees and motivate employees to reach each objective. Set appropriate deadlines and check in with employees to ensure they're making progress.

• Manage performance to attain targets for key performance indicators and make strategy adjustments as necessary.

• Oversee execution and monitor performance. Facilitate the resolution of issues within the group.

• Lead, perform and/or approve investigations and reports as required.

• Review and approve Standard Test Methods, SOP's, specifications, and protocols.

• Facilitate the training of new hires and oversee staff development.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• BS degree and 8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Minimum of 5 years of previous management experience. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration

• Must possess communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, effective oral and written skills, and analytical & problem-solving skills. Must possess basic computer skills.
