Mid-size, multi-state law firm looking for a Paralegal to assist Community Association Attorneys in collections, general counsel and litigation matters with our Idaho clients.
Position Description:
· Understand state and local court rules, guidelines, case workflow processes
· Manage and execute daily case workflow of a large volume of matters
· Draft, review and revise correspondence, documents, and pleadings
· Legal research, including checking citations
· Administrative office tasks
· Type at least 50 wpm, 10-key
· Excellent phone skills
· Proven competencies in general computer programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel
· FDCPA familiarity (training/testing required) and collections experience
· Provide 40 hours per week of service, during an agreed-upon schedule of hours, evidenced by daily time punches (in/out)
Position Qualifications:
· A baccalaureate degree or advanced degree in any subject, with a recommended minimum of two years of experience in a law firm
· Certificate of completion of an ABA approved paralegal program, with a recommended minimum of two years of experience in a law firm
· Certificate of completion of a paralegal program at or a degree from a post-secondary institution that requires the successful completion of a minimum 24 semester or equivalent units in law-related courses and that has been accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization, with a recommended minimum of two years of experience in a law firm
· HOA law firm experience a plus
