Site Reliability Engineer

VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices across Australia, USA, Canada, Malta and the Philippines we are on a mission to be the biggest gaming company in the world!

Due to major growth we are expanding our Engineering team and currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the team.

• We were born in the cloud: practices and principles like CI/CD, IaC, O11y and CyberSec are part of what we do

In terms of our tech stack, we’re container-based, running on EKS supported by Amazon Aurora, CloudFront and S3 for our front-ends. Our infrastructure is provisioned with Terraform and we use a mix of CircleCI, Github Actions for our CI/CD.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer,, SRE or a related field and ready to take the next step
• Strong fundamental knowledge of Google SRE
• Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience in/ knowledge of CI/CD tools and techniques
• Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in OpenTelemetry is desired
