Job Title – Inventory Coordinator
Department – Construction: Logistics
Summary:
Position is necessary to control costs and ensure availability of materials and equipment for fiber construction. The Warehouse Associate will assist the Construction Inventory Manager maintain inventory, pull orders for the support to all construction projects through Vexus, while also maintaining accurate records.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and mandatory safety training.
- Daily receiving and issuing of material for Vexus Construction and Install Projects
- Develops and manages process for equipment maintenance and parts replacement.
- Pick and pull materials up to 50 pounds and pick/pull multiple orders separated by customers shipping correctly for each BOM
- Perform Monthly physical inventory audits.
- Repackage materials and repalletize as needed
- Operate class 1, 4, 5, 7 forklift safely in execution of yard and BOM management
- Support Inventory Coordinator in all duties as required
- Some regional travel may be required
- Able to communicate with contractors
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with contractors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of moving equipment used in the warehouse.
- Basic understanding of procedures and policies used in the warehouse.
- Basic Understanding with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to manage inventory via systems
- Keyboarding Skills
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to obtain or possess certificates of operation required to meet state and OSHA regulations for forklift operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse and construction yard and reach items both high and low.
