Looking for someone who is passionate and professional. Must be able to work well in a team and also independently. Must have own transportation, be available for nights and weekends for inpatients.

Duties include:

• Assist vets with exams.
• Perform treatments (vaccines, nail trims, medications, anal glands, ear cleanings, etc.)
• Perform dental radiographs (experience with dental rads preferred) and assist with surgeries.
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collections.
• Accurately chart in medical record - both paper and computer.
• Blood smears and microscope slide preparation.
• Run blood work in house.
• Complete specialty testing protocols (ACTH Stim, LDDS, Bile Acids, etc.)
• Properly dispense medications as ordered.
• Assist with front desk as needed.
• Properly sanitize and keep facility clean.
• Accurately keep documentation of controlled substances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
