The Program Manager (II) assists Program Director and Clinical Director in managing day-to-day responsibilities required for the operation of the Grant Per Diem programs, including direct case management of clients
Compensation:
The base pay for this position is $66,560.00 to $70,500 per hour.
Essential Functions and Duties
  • Supervises the Office B Resident Associates, Resident Monitor Staff, and Resident Managers
  • Supervises GPD Staff.
  • Manage day-to day programming tasks such as health and safety inspections of campus; ensure coordinated services with Employment Services.
  • Case Manager file audit and overview
  • Maintain records and manage abandoned property inventory.
  • Attend required organizational and program meetings.
  • Responsible for program monthly reports.
  • Onboard and manage AOD Interns and related tasks.
  • Facilitate Crisis interventions with residents and staff.
  • Plans and coordinates with the Clinical Director all groups and educational classes related to alcohol and drug recovery.
  • Supervises the screening of applicants for residential services.
  • Recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling of Case Managers and SUD Counselors.
  • Engages in component and program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Assures coordination and collaboration among all programs and services and provides support to an integrated approach to client services.
  • Gathers, enters, and analyzes data on programs, creating relevant and usable reports on program data and metrics. Consolidates data and produces relevant, meaningful, timely reports pertaining to San Diego Housing Commission, GPD Performance Reports, and other grants as necessary.
  • Manages and oversees the completion of San Diego Housing Commission Reports
  • Conducting weekly meetings and providing regular feedback and training as appropriate with SUD Counselors and Case Managers.
  • Work in support of Program Director to coach and counsel staff and administer appropriate disciplinary action in a timely manner
  • Supervise Employee payroll and scheduling for SUD Counselors and Case Managers
  • Contributes and/or develops client-sensitive policies and procedures supporting the delivery of programs and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • CADC-1 with 3-5 years’ experience is a residential treatment setting preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, EXCEL, and database management.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels.
  • Experience with veteran homelessness preferred.
  • Must be able to, both mentally and physically, perform all aspects of job description and other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Veteran Status a plus!


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a noisy, busy environment Ability to bend and lift light objects
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while viewing a computer monitor
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard
  • Ability to speak English
