Immediate Hiring Need for a Full Time Service Technician

We are looking for a skilled technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys preventative maintenance, repair, OSHA inspections, and installation of new and rebuilt equipment. This position includes local travel but no overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and OSHA inspections on all types of overhead crane and hoists.
• Make service and repair calls to troubleshoot operating difficulties
• Work with electronic inspections, time keeping, email communications, and others on multiple devices such as tablets, phones, and computers.
• Deal directly with the customer in a professional and businesslike manner.
• Be responsible with company vehicle(s), equipment, and own time.
• Have a working knowledge of all Federal, State, and local codes for overhead traveling bridge cranes and hoists.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in or ability of working with, and troubleshooting all types hoist equipment
• Strong electrical or mechanical aptitude
• Excellent customer service skill with the ability to represent self and company in a professional manner.
• Strong communication skills
• Must be physically fit as the position involves standing, climbing, walking, lifting, etc.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Control Circuits: 2 years (Required)
• Variable Frequencies: 2 years (Required)
• Hydraulics: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Canton, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
