- Hold a CVT or associate’s degree in veterinary technology.
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree in science (biology, pre-veterinary, animal health and science, etc.) OR a bachelor’s degree in another subject area with prior work experience in veterinary medicine
- Be regularly available to work from 7:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every other Saturday.
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Competency in dental procedures and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
- Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
- Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
- A flexible approach to compensation that will reflect your skillset and future performance
- $18.00 - $22.00 / hour
