The Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our financial operations, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to drive decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform valuation analyses to help the Business Development team assess new investment opportunities
  • Analyze financial statements to understand the profitability of potential acquisition targets and create pro forma assumptions
  • Spearhead collection efforts for all relevant financial, operational, and HR due diligence
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with sellers, and other external parties (CPA, bookkeeper etc.) in order to resolve financial questions or variances
  • Support the Corporate Development team post LOI due diligence process (quality of earnings, operational / legal diligence, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in finance or accounting or similar role (prior experience as a financial analyst is a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable being self-directed and accountable for workload and quality of work
  • Confident with finance and with communicating financial concepts to non-finance people
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset, positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
