JOB TITLE: Production Scheduler

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A part of the Vescom Global team, Vescom North America specializes in the development and production of high-quality interior products, including wallcovering and upholstery. Due to consistent growth, we are looking for a Production Scheduler to strengthen our operations at our Henderson, NC office.

• Create, monitor and analyze production schedules based on item grouping and order dates
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Efficiently assign production to minimize company costs and meet delivery deadlines
• Review production specifications, identify, and report plant capacity constraints
• Resolve production, manpower and material shortage problems quickly in an order of priority
• Develop production schedules in accordance with sales, plant, and employee capacity, and new business opportunities
• Works closely with the supply chain analyst to ensure we have the raw materials available to complete the production schedule
• Works closely with the Production Manager and Production Supervisor to ensure adherence to the production schedule
• Work with Maintenance Personager to ensure there is downtime available for Preventative Maintenance to be performed
• Works with Design Development to schedule trials for new patterns
• Works with Customer Service to provide accurate deliver dates
• Generate weekly production reports to managers for critical decision-making purposes

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• Entry Level – Upcoming Graduates
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical field
• Strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to schedule for make to order facility
• Predictive Analysis
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $57,000.00 per year
