We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with the primary duties of troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance and changing over manufacturing/packaging machinery.

We are looking for self-motivated problem solvers that are willing to get their hands dirty on a daily basis.

This role is of critical importance in keeping the machines running and on schedule.

This position will pay based on experience. The Company will provide you with the necessary tools.

Responsibilities:

· Perform all line setups and change overs and adjust equipment as needed

· Coordinate with Production Management to maximize machine efficiency

· Troubleshoot and develop solutions to fix equipment breakdowns and emergency issues

· Check equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything is in working order. Track and document preventative maintenance log.

· Respond to repair requests and repair malfunctioning equipment

· Train associates on proper equipment operation and provide input as it relates to safe machine operation

· Manage parts inventory for planned maintenance and emergency repairs. Coordinate equipment parts purchases with the Plant Manager

· Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices

· PLC knowledge preferred

· Standing, walking bending for 75% of the day

You're a great fit for this position if you possess the following things:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2 years of maintenance experience preferred (packaging machinery a plus)

· Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems

· Forklift certified preferred

· Valid drivers license

· Skilled with a variety of hand and power tools

· Able to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
