Versar Global Solutions is seeking a full-time Road Crew Worker. We maintain highways and roadways in Flagler and Volusia Counties. YOUR ROLE

• Uses landscaping equipment on highway medians, ramps, and shoulders, such as: mower, weed eater, trimmer, edger, pole-saw, blower
• Cleans and grades stormwater and ditches, drainage structures, road shoulders, and slopes
• Removes litter and debris from roadside
• Repairs fences, metal guardrail and attenuators, and signage (e.g. speed limit signs)
• Applies herbicide and weed control
• Responds to accidents with lane closures and cone placement (similar to flagging) aka MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) or temporary traffic control

WHAT YOU BRING

• Valid and Current Florida Driver's License (sorry, no exceptions)
• Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors most of your shift
• Ability to work along highways with traffic passing by at varying rates of speed
• Ability to commute to Holly Hill, FL (zip code 32117) daily for work with personal, reliable, vehicular transportation
