The Why As a Program Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Operations and Logistics for Verkada's VCE Technical Training & Certifications Program. The program hosts multiple trainings in different cities across the country and globe weekly. The program is scaling quickly across all fronts and is looking for someone eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with the Program Manager, Operations Lead, and Technical Trainers to ensure all aspects of the Program's operations run smoothly.
Please note: this role is onsite in San Mateo; not hybrid or remote. Responsibilities - Source high-quality venues adhering to program requirements for partner and customer training events
- Optimize kit shipment schedules to ensure multiple shipments each week arrive on time and to the right location, all while maintaining cost efficiency
- Oversee training detail communications to critical stakeholders
- Upload and manage training events within our registration software systems
- Support program leadership with budget tracking, preparing financial analyses, and reviewing training registration and feedback data
- Handle operational challenges and escalations as they arise
Qualifications - 2-4 years of project management, coordination, and/or administrative work
- Event planning and coordinating experience
- Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment while maintaining high attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple internal competing priorities with effective communication, delegation, and execution
- Commitment to excellence and top performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using G-Suite
- Bachelor's Degree

With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada's total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
