What you'll be doing...
The Sr-Mgr marketing intelligence will be a member of CRM & Demand Gen team supporting Marketing for Business Markets. In this role, the analytics lead will be responsible for driving growth and loyalty strategies for business customers ranging from small business to mid-market customers. Verizon's CRM team will look to this individual to proactively drive bottom-up data driven recommendations as well as adapt to top-down requirements from executive leadership. This individual will provide strategic analytical support to marketing/sales leadership, program directors and marketing campaign managers to drive base strategies by sharing data insights, deep-dives and accelerating action plans aligned with marketing opportunities. In addition, this BI lead will be responsible for understanding Sales/Field feedback, conducting problem-solving analysis, to aid CRM communications and strategy building.
They will operate by leading peers from cross-functional teams including but not limited to: CRM Campaigns, Demand Gen, Sales Campaigns, Sales Enablement, Database Marketing, Offer Strategy, Finance, Digital, and Data Science & Customer Analytics.
Responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategic analysis and insight generation to support base growth and loyalty strategies, and interfacing directly with Sales executive leadership to represent the BM Marketing team.
  • Utilizing customer analytics to develop a deeper understanding of the customer's profile, point-of-
    contact engagement and activity across online and offline channels. Use findings to tie behavioral data to inform audience pulls to optimize our communication strategies.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for proactive insight generation from journey analytics tied to
    growth/loyalty nurture and campaign journeys.
  • Collaborating with BM lifecycle teams in refining omnichannel retargeting and reengagement strategies via search, browse and abandoned shopping cart capture etc.
  • Analyzing base performance by distilling complex data sets into concise and actionable data insights which will be utilized to further refine marketing campaign strategies to drive greater value and combat churn within the BM customer base.
  • Building, automating and maintaining data queries and help lead measurement architecture conversations with marketing agencies - recommending and managing meaningful clusters of data necessary for strategy effectiveness to meet Growth and Churn goals.
  • Owning executive leadership updates via scorecards on program performance as well as CRM KPI tracking & reporting.
  • Making analytical findings available through development of Google and PowerPoint slides, Tableau dashboards, and excel reports.
What We're Looking For...
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing analytics and campaign success measures.
  • Experience with creating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Excel, Google Slides.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways with actionable insights to meet or exceed KPIs.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A Master's degree in Data Science, Marketing or Analytics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of direct marketing and Sales best practices across key tactics (Email, Direct Mail, SMS, Digital, Outbound, etc).
  • Understanding of key CRM and Sales platforms and systems (i.e., Marketo, Adobe Analytics Site Catalyst, Adobe Experience Platform AEP, Pega, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics CJA, Salesforce and POS systems)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across projects.
