Description

As a Product Manager you will design and support execution of product enhancements and interfaces to ensure successful deployment of key features in partnership with dedicated engineering crews. You will also help to identify, along with other members of the product team, how the Site Solutions product can make the biggest impact on the clinical trial industry. This is a unique opportunity that will allow a Product Manager to join and partner with the client and engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial and client engagement interactions with prospects and clients respectively to clarify product strategy and approach for product features in your scope.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in existing product solutions for product features in your scope and establish enhancement plans.
  • Ownership of lean-agile requirements and execution process, working directly with one or more engineering crews to document, manage, track successful deployment of specific software features and manage and order the product backlog, working cross-functionally to ensure that it accurately reflects current priorities and business value.
  • Define high quality epics and stories, in partnership with engineering, client engagement, and other stakeholders, such as UI engineers to ensure that all stories support a creative and effective design.
  • Support the QA team to perform internal acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released; present new product functionality/enhancements to stakeholders in regular sprint reviews, and demos and partner with product design as well as UI engineers to ensure that all stories support a creative and effective design.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of product ownership or product management experience and BA/BS Degree.
  • Experience in the healthcare technology or life sciences industry.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills - ability to communicate with internal teams, external clients and other stakeholders to gain an understanding of their clinical research needs and the ability to translate those efficiently to software requirements and stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and facilitate workflow across multiple teams including leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks (scrum/kanban) and experience with continuous integration/delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated history that reflects detail orientation, organizational skills, and good written and verbal communication.
  • An understanding of clinical trial management and related software applications; knowledge with clinical research financial management workflows would be a bonus.
  • Experience with complex SaaS applications.
  • Experience working with software development tools such as Jira and Aha.
  • Strong drive and passion to find improved solutions within the healthcare space with a specific focus on better outcomes for people.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000 - $158,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
