Vered Healthcare Group is Hiring a RN Staff Development Coordinator SDC Near Jacksonville, FL

Join us as we are under new Ownership. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RN Staff Development Coordinator to make a difference in caring for patients in our community. We provide compassionate short- and long-term healthcare and specialized medical support.

We are looking for a RN Staff Development Coordinator to join our team. The Staff Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering the professional growth and competence of our staff members. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating training programs to ensure continuous development and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staff education, infection prevention, and passion for promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Work closely with the Human Resource for new hire onboarding.

· Conducts orientation and onboarding with all newly hired employees.

· Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for employees, ensuring they are well-versed in organizational policies, procedures and infection prevention measures.

· Maintain accurate records of staff training and ensuring that staff members are up-to date on required training and certifications.

· Provide oversight to administering and tracking of tuberculosis PPDs hepatitis vaccine and tracking influenza immunization for all employees.

· Work closely with Director of Nursing to assist with interviewing potential team members,

increasing employee retention and boosting overall productivity.

· Develop and deliver training modules focused on infection prevention protocols and procedures.

· Collaborate with the infection control team to stay abreast of emerging infectious diseases and update training materials accordingly.

· Design, develop and implement comprehensive training programs that address the needs of staff across various departments.

· Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training requirements and create relevant content.

· Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in healthcare to ensure training materials are up-to date.

· Identify ongoing professional development needs for staff members and facilitate relevant training sessions.

· Promote a culture of continuous learning by providing resources and support for staff seeking additional certifications or qualifications.

· Implement and monitor systems to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
