- Installation of commercial irrigation system
- After installation and services, monitoring all aspects of the irrigation system and identify any problems.
- Inspection and repair of exiting commercial irrigation systems.
- Responsible for loading and transportation of irrigation materials and equipment
- Assure that before leaving the yard that he or she has all the proper tools, materials, people, job information.
- Maintain a clean vehicle; advise others of problems with vehicle. Conduct routine maintenance procedures on vehicles such as fueling and fluid checks.
- Ensure work is being completed safely and efficiently.
- Advise supervisor of any potential problems i.e. scope of work issues and progress, property damage, auto accidents, WC injuries, performance, conflicts or inappropriate behavior.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site.
- Complete all required paperwork daily and return to supervisor.
- Responsible for company vehicle and equipment
- Clean and return any power equipment used, clean and repair vehicle for next day use.
- Adhere to and enforce company dress code.
- Attend and participate in informational and organizational meetings as requested.
- Working knowledge of all types of commercial irrigation controllers and components, which may include two wire systems
- Ability to stay focused and drive projects to completion
- Prioritizing & Organization
- Proactive, respectful communication (bilingual is a plus)
- Strong work ethics
- 3 years of field work experience with an emphasis on exterior services or comparable work is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
- Back-flow Certification (not required but preferred)
- Capacity to manage work and assignments, with limited supervision
- Troubleshooting systems to make appropriate repairs
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers
