Job Summary:

• Lead and motivate a team of garden center associates to provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Supervise and lead a team of up to three Crewmembers, ensuring their productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, considering each Crewmember's skills and experience.
• Assist with installations on commercial and private properties, employing your expertise with the skid steer (bobcat) for maneuvering between houses.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high-quality customer service throughout all interactions.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of plants, providing guidance and recommendations to customers when needed.
• Operating a truck and trailer, along with the ability to use GPS for navigation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with installations in a customer service environment..
• Proficiency in operating and maneuvering a skid steer (Bobcat) for efficient transport between buildings.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills to effectively supervise and guide the Crewmembers.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of plants and horticulture is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform bending, stooping, and digging tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with operating a truck and trailer, along with the ability to use GPS for navigation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
