Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a Senior Program Analyst with experience in submarine nuclear capability experience in support of the AUKUS program. This position involves impactful work as part of a great team. AUKUS is the term for the joint Australia, UK and US program to supply the Royal Australian Navy with conventionally armed, nuclear powered attack submarines.

 This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience supporting submarine programs. The person in this role will be coordinating with US nuclear regulators. Additional responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in US engineering philosophy. The candidate will assist Australia in developing their submarine nuclear capability and associated interfaces with NAVSEA’s non-nuclear projects. Being knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes is strongly desired.  AUKUS is an ambitious, long-term project, and this is great opportunity to start from the beginning on a long-term project.

The anticipated work location is in Alexandria, VA, with potential for light telework. Travel: less than 10%.

 Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• US Navy submarine operations and sustainment experience.
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
• SECRET clearance

Desired Experience:

• Served as an EDMC on a US nuclear submarine.
• Experience supporting a submarine program.
• Experience with international/FMS programs
• Knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office
